Parking Enforcement
Our civilian parking enforcement officer enforces various parking laws, policies, rules, and regulations established by the City or the State of Iowa. Such duties include enforcement of fire lanes, handicapped, three-hour parking restrictions, and Scoff towing. For questions regarding parking, please call 641-844-1807.
Emergency Snow Routes
Marshalltown has approximately 25 miles of emergency snow routes. These emergency snow routes are plowed first allowing any resident no more than a few blocks to get to a plowed main street and allowing for police, fire, ambulance, or other emergency vehicles to reach within a few blocks of any home or business. Designated streets are marked with red and white Emergency Snow Route signs. Stay up to date about when the snow ordinance is in effect by signing up for Notify Me to get email or text notifications of City News Flashes.
