[ARCHIVED] Buzbee Family Foundation Contributes $15,000 to the Coliseum Renovation

The Coliseum Fundraising Committee is excited to announce a $15,000 contribution from the Terry and Rhonda Buzbee Family Foundation.  This Medal of Honor contribution moves the total dollars raised and pledged to more than $930,000.  "The Coliseum is a special place, and we have experienced great events there," stated Terry Buzbee.  "Also we appreciate and honor our Veterans."

The gap to get to the fundraising goal of $1.35 million is getting smaller and smaller.  City Administrator Jessica Kinser is very excited to see the progress.  "We kicked off our fundraising on March 15th, which was the 90th anniversary of the dedication to the building.  Things started off slow, but Medal of Honor contributions like that from the Buzbee Family Foundation keep moving us closer and closer to where we hope to end up."

Contributions can be made to the renovation of the Veterans Memorial Coliseum online at www.mtowncoliseum.com or by sending checks made out to the Veterans Memorial Coliseum Fund to 24 North Center Street, Marshalltown, Iowa 50158.  All contributions are tax deductible.
