[ARCHIVED] Aquatic Center Lazy River & Slides are closed until further notice.

The Aquatic Center Lazy River and slides will be unavailable until further notice.  Glass goggles were accidentally dropped and broke in the Lazy River and staff immediately closed the area to ensure safety of all patrons.   To ensure safety to all patrons the lazy river and slide plunge pool will be drained, vacuumed and power washed. We will then refill and balance chemicals prior to reopening this area of the Aquatic Center.

This incident can serve as a reminder that help is needed for precautions of all glass, including but not limited to, cell phones, goggles, eye glasses, toys, be kept out of any & all Aquatic Centers or away from the water’s edge. We apologize for an inconvenience this may have caused.  Safety of our patrons is our first priority.

We are unsure of a timeline for reopening the Lazy River and Slides due to many factors in correcting this incident.  Continue to watch our Facebook page and sign up on our website to receive text message or email alerts for our reopening.
