MPD SEEKS PUBLIC ASSISTANCE

The Marshalltown Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance as they attempt to track down 49-year-old Jimmy Austgen, who is wanted on several charges to include, forgery, theft, identity theft and unauthorized use of a credit card.  

Police describe Austgen as a 5'9” white male weighing approximately 260 pounds with a shaved head and hazel eyes. Austgen was last seen around S 2nd Ave and Market St in Marshalltown.

Tips may be submitted by calling (641) 753-1234, via text by texting the word “marshall” followed by the tip to CRIMES (274637), or online at www.marshallcountycs.com.  All tips are completely anonymous and could earn a reward of up to $1,000 if the tip results in an arrest.
