On Friday, October 27, 2023, at 2:21pm, the Marshalltown Police Department arrested Serafin Gonzalez-Espinoza, age 23, of Marshalltown. Mr. Gonzalez-Espinoza has been charged with Sexual Abuse in the Second Degree. Mr. Gonzalez-Espinoza was booked into the Marshall County Jail but has since posted cash bond and was released. This arrest was made in connection with an investigation that began on January 16, 2023.
