MARSHALLTOWN WOMAN ARRESTED ON ROBBERY CHARGES

On Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at 8:37am, Natasha Lee Cain, age 34, of Marshalltown was arrested in connection with an investigation that began on August 18, 2023.

On August 18, law enforcement officers responded to a residence in the 100 block of North 2nd Street to investigate a reported assault and theft. The reporting party in this case is a 22-year-old Marshalltown man. Following an investigation, arrest warrants were issued for Ms. Cain. Ms. Cain has been charged with:

  1. Assault Causing Bodily Injury
  2. Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree
  3. Obstructing Emergency Communications
  4. Robbery 2nd Degree
  5. Theft 3rd Degree

Ms. Cain has been processed and remains in custody at the Marshall County Jail.
