Marshalltown Police Department Investigates Early Morning Robbery

The Marshalltown Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred on Monday, June 7, at approximately 5:00am. The Marshalltown Police Department responded to the Git-N-Go convenience store, located at 3302 South Center Street, after an employee called the police to report a robbery. The initial call to law enforcement came in at 5:04am. Upon arrival, officers determined a male suspect had entered the store and demanded money. The suspect subsequently left the store after stealing an undisclosed amount of cash. Available information suggests the suspect left the immediate area on foot. No other descriptor information about the suspect is available for release at this time. The store employee was not injured.
