City Hall is officially opened to the public after more than 3 months of being closed due to COVID-19. The re-opening comes with changes for citizens/visitors to be aware of. People will only be able to enter the building at the 24 North Center, including the accessible entrance, and the 10 West State Street entrances. The entrance at 36 North Center Street is no longer open. When entering the building, people will be advised to wear masks and have access to hand sanitizer. In addition, a person will need to use a phone located in each area to contact a person or department they are hoping to visit. Individuals will only be allowed into office areas if escorted by a staff member. "These are big changes which will take some getting used to, but this is the best way that we can see to keep our employees safe and providing services as well as provide an additional layer of production to the public," stated Jessica Kinser, City Administrator.
