Please be aware of a hazard when disinfecting. Spraying disinfectant in copious amounts on light switches may cause them to short circuit from the liquid coming in contact with the wiring and cause an electrical fire. The proper way to disinfect a light switch is to spray the cleaning cloth with the solution, then wipe down the switch. Cleaning wipes, if you have them, are also another great option. Remember, electricity and liquids do not mix.
