The Marshalltown Police Department has started moving into the new fire and police facility. The moving process will take several days. Over the next week, department personnel will primarily be working out of the old building (22 North Center Street) while moving operations take place. We plan to be operational in the new building (909 South 2nd Street) by 9:00 am on Friday, August 30, 2019.
The police department is moving all department operations to the new facility in phases. Our phone and email systems will remain operational. You can still call 911 for emergencies. You can still call our 24/7 non-emergency number (641.754.5725) for all other needs. If you need to visit the police department for any reason, please visit the old building until August 30 at 9:00 am. Please visit the new building beginning on August 30 at 9:00 am.
If this schedule changes, we will let you know. We are excited to be moving into a new building. Thank you Marshalltown for supporting this important public safety project! Watch for an announcement soon regarding a ribbon cutting event and open house tour opportunities.
