Re: Linn Creek Trail Closures
The Parks and Recreation Department would like to let the avid trail users know that parts of the Linn Creek Trail will be closed on Thursday, September 30. These sections of trails are going to be torn out and replace with concrete. This process will take until the end of November.
The sections that will be closed are from Mega-10 Park heading east to the covered bridge over Linn Creek to May Street. The other section is from Main Street heading NE to Marion Street/Nicholson-Ford Park. For your safety please stay out of those areas during this time.
“We are excited to have this project starting and can’t wait for it to be finished. This will give the Linn Creek Trail a smooth ride from Riverview to Grimes Farm once completed,” said Geoff Hubbard, Director of Parks & Recreation.
