We would like to invite you to join us in 2018 in an initiative to improve and take pride in your home, your neighborhood and your community.
Vision Marshalltown, a community organization, identified housing and community pride as community priorities. One of the housing objectives includes revitalizing two neighborhoods in 2018.
The City of Marshalltown, with funding from the Martha-Ellen Tye Foundation, has started a new Neighborhood Revitalization Program to address the Vision Marshalltown priority.
The program will include outreach and education efforts to provide residents with resources and information on how to create a safe and healthy home and neighborhood. We will select two neighborhoods where additional focused revitalization efforts will take place.
