Important Information Regarding Demolition of Property
All property demolition requires a Demolition Permit and must follow the Demolition Permit Requirements Please complete the application packet, indicate the scope of work (demolish) and submit it to the Building Division, City Hall, 24 N Center Street.
Commercial buildings MUST have an asbestos clearance report as part of the demolition process. For a list of certified asbestos contractors visit the Iowa Department of Labor website.

Demolition debris should NOT be placed on the curb for pick-up. It is the responsibility of the contractor/property owner to properly dispose of all debris. For disposal information, you may contact the Marshall County Landfill.
